Poland – Italy – Review
Poland and Italy will face each other in Gdansk in a fixture from League A’s Group 1 of the
Nations League. We are going to take a look at it in today’s football betting tips this
weekend. Let’s go!
For Poland this is a chance to make a step towards the top of the group. Right now they
are third in the standings with 3 points, but just one point behind the leader Italy. Group 1
seems really competitive at the moment, we hope it’s going to be like that until the end.
During the week Poland faced Finland in a friendly game and showed great shape with
winning 5-1. The man of the hour was WBA’s Kamil Grosicki who scored a hattrick for the
hosts. The two strikers Piatek and Milik scored as well for Jerzy Brzeczek’s team.
It’s impressive that Poland managed to score five goals even without their star man Robert
Lewandowski. This proves they have some great potential to work with.
Italy are the current leaders in Group 1, but they have just one point advantage in front of
Netherlands and Poland. For them it’s going to be crucial to achieve a positive result in
Gdansk on Sunday.
During the week Italy also made a preparation for their next game. The Azzurri had an
easy game against Moldova in Florence which they won with the crushing 6-0. Roma’s
former striker Stephan El Shaarawy scored twice for Roberto Mancini’s team while
Cristante, Caputo and Berardi also put the ball in the net for the four time wolrd
champions. Italy look ready for their next challenge in the Nations League, that’s for sure.
These are our football betting tips this weekend for the Nations League game between
Poland and Italy. We have expectations for a very competitive game here. Poland are
always tough at home, but Italy are a team which is always among the world’s best.
