28.10.2020 Juventus – Barcelona – Review
It’s always a football classic when Juventus and Barcelona face each other in the
Champions League. This is going to be the case on Wednesday when the Italian club
hosts the Catalan giants at the Allianz Stadium. Let’s preview it in our free soccer betting
This is a game from Group G of the Champions League. Both teams are the biggest
favourites to take the first place and they already started their season in the competition
with wins. Juventus won their visit to Dynamo Kyiv while Barcelona scored five times
against Hungarian champion Ferencvaros. Now one of them could make a step towards
the first place in the group.
Juventus’ biggest worry is the absence of super star Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese
striker, who is the Champions League all time best goalscorer, was diagnosed with
COVID-19. He’s currently under quarantine and can’t play on Wednesday. It’s a pity
because it’s always exciting when Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona’s Lionel Messi meet
on the pitch. They are the two best footballers of our time.
Andrea Pirlo has many options to replace Ronaldo, though. Alvaro Morata is the obvious
choice for a target man while Paulo Dybala, Federico Chiesa and Dejan Kulusevski could
start upfront as well.
Barcelona will face Juventus without their best defender Gerard Pique who got sent off
during the 5-1 win over Ferencvaros last week. Anothern notable absentee is the Brazilian
star Philippe Coutinho who got injured during the El Classico defeat against Real Madrid.
Most likely he will be replaced by Antoine Griezmann in the starting eleven.
These are our free soccer betting tips for the Champions League derby between Juventus
and Barcelona. It’s going to be hot at the Allianz Stadium in Turin. It’s too pity there won’t
be fans on the stands, though – this is going to be a huge game.
