26.10.2020 Milan – Roma – Review

It’s a great time for another Italian derby because AC Milan will host Roma at the San Siro
on Monday. This is a last game from the 5th round of the Serie A. Let’s take a look at it.
Surprisingly or not, Milan are leading the Serie A standings. The Rossoneri are at the top
with a perfect record of 12 points and four wins from four matches played. Stefano Pioli’s
team continues its strong performance from the second half of the previous season. This is
exactly why Pioli recieved an offer for a new contract with the club.
During the week Milan snatched another win, but this time on the European scene. The
Rossoneri paid a visit to Celtic in Europa League and clinched a 3-1 win in Glasgow. Rade
Krunic, Brahim Diaz and Jens Hauge scored for the Italian team at the Celtic Park.
We believe Stefano Pioli will use the team which won the Derby della Madonnina against
Inter Milan last week. Zlatan Ibrahimovic should lead the attack while Rafael Leao and
Calhanoglu must play near him. Samu Castillejo started from the bench against Inter, but
he’s an option for the next game.
Roma also had a successful game in Europa League during the week. The Wolves
traveled to Switzerland and achieved a 2-1 win over the domestic champions Young Boys.
The Swiss team scored first, but in the second half Roma won it with goals from Bruno
Peres and Marash Kumbulla. It’s an interesting fact there were five Spanish players in
Roma’s starting eleven for this game.
In the Serie A Roma are 8th in the standings with 7 points won. They can surely improve
this and move closer to the top in the next few weeks.
These are our free sure soccer tips for the Serie A derby game between AC Milan and
Roma. We expect a spectacle at the San Siro.
