Midtjylland faces Ajax at the MCH Arena in Herning in a match from Group D of the

Midtjylland are debutants in the Champions League and so far they are not doing very
well. The Danish team is the underdog in this group with 0 points won from two matches
played. In their first two games Midtjylland suffered defeats against Atalanta and Liverpool.
They didn’t score any goals, but conceded six – it’s not the best possible statistics to have.
Of course we should not judge Midtjylland too hard – they are for a first time in this
competition and the draw sent them in a difficult group. If they manage to win any points in
the remaining four games it’d be a successful performance for them.
Ajax will be playing for their first win in the competition for the 2020/21 season. The Dutch
team is currently third in Group D of the competition with just one point won so far. Erik ten
Hag’s team lost against Liverpool and won a point during the difficult trip to Bergamo to
face Atalanta.
We expected some goals between Atalanta and Ajax and we were not dissapointed.
These two teams scored each other four goals and won a point after a 2-2 draw at the
Gewiss Stadium. Tadic and Traore gave two goals advantage to Ajax, but in the second
half La Dea scored twice and won a point.
